Three things that will bite if nobody checks.

The 08:30 is doing real work
1:45 to Rugby, 15 minutes in M&S, 1:15 on to the restaurant — three hours' driving and 3:15 door to door. You pull in at 11:45 with fifteen minutes spare. Leaving at nine, as first planned, lands you at 12:15. Late.
Back-to-back tickets
Castle Marina runs out three hours after noon, which is an hour into the film. That is a second ticket at Park Street, not a top-up.
The hotel detour is untimed
The original recorded 11 minutes from the cinema straight to the Victoria Centre. Check-in now sits in between, so that leg is longer than anything written down — worth a look before you set off from the Savoy.
Sunday parking, worth a glance
Halls Road is a Broxtowe council car park, and they appear to be free on Sundays. I could not confirm it on the council's own site, so the plan still carries the £1 — read the sign rather than trust this line.
